Description

A Pre-catalysed range of single pack lacquers, modified with Melamine to improve resistance and wearing properties. Fiddes Pre-catalysed Lacquer combines ease of application with good build qualities toproduce a hard, quick drying finish suitable for the majority of internal wood substrates.
Fiddes manufacture both a Black & White in various sheen levels as stock items.

Fiddes Pigmented Pre-catalysed Lacquer is ideal for application on Fiddes Pre-catalysed White Primer.

PIGMENTED COLOUR MATCHING

Fiddes Pre-catalysed Lacquer is also available in a wide range of colours, either matched to your own specification or to an existing colour chart (RAL / BS4800 / PANTONE / DULUX).

Preparation

Sand the wooden substrate in stages, working with a medium sandpaper 120 grit), through to a medium / fine grade (180 –220 grit). Always sand in the direction of the grain pattern where possible, ensuring the removal of any blemishes and glue residue prior to the application of Fiddes Spray Lacquers. Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust and test the chosen sheen level on a similar substrate before application.

Always stir the contents well and ensure all Fiddes Spray Lacquers are applied in a dust free environment with sufficient ventilation.

Application

Formulated for spray application through conventional, airless or HVLP systems.

Add 10/15% Fiddes Pre-cat Thinners if required.
