| Preparation | Sand the wooden substrate in stages, working with a medium sandpaper (120 grit), through to a medium / fine grade (180 –220 grit). Always sand in the direction of the grain pattern where possible, ensuring the removal of any blemishes and glue residue prior to the application of Fiddes Spray Lacquers. Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust and test the chosen sheen level on a similar substrate before application. Always stir the contents well and ensure all Fiddes Spray Lacquers are applied in a dust free environment with sufficient ventilation. |
| Application | Formulated for spray application through conventional, airless or HVLP systems. Add 5% water if required. Higher temperatures will reduce drying times. Always protect from frost and spray in temperatures above 20c. Always stir contents well and check sheen before use. Contact Fiddes Technical Department for specific advice on different spraying techniques and finishing options. |
